This week, we’re exploring the real-world implications of using Wegovy, a medication designed for weight management. While clinical trials offer valuable insights, they often don’t reflect real-life scenarios accurately. We discuss the importance of understanding real-world data and its impact on assessing Wegovy’s true effectiveness.

In reviewing a recent study, the STEP 1 trial with Wegovy at 2.4mg once weekly, we uncover the disparities between clinical trial results and real-life outcomes with Wegovy. Despite impressive weight loss seen in trials, real-world scenarios present a more nuanced picture. The study reveals significant insights, including not just weight loss but also improvements in health markers over a six-month period.

While the study has its limitations, including sample size and observational nature, it offers promising results that highlight Wegovy’s potential in combating obesity. By examining real-life data, we gain a deeper understanding of Wegovy’s role in weight management beyond controlled studies.

Join me as I unravel the implications of this study and its relevance for individuals seeking effective and sustainable weight management solutions.

Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you in the next video!

Burning, Crawling, Buzzing Skin on GLP-1s

Burning, crawling, or sunburnt-feeling skin is one of the least discussed Ozempic side effects, and the trial data shows it climbing steeply with each dose. I walk through the dose-by-dose semaglutide side effect numbers, the three leading theories on why a gut hormone would make your skin hurt, and the simple steps that settle it without costing you your progress.

Ozempic Side Effects According to Redditors

Real-world reports from 410,000 posts reveal what side effects from Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro and Zepbound actually feel like outside clinical trials. I explore why nausea, fatigue and constipation dominate the scale, plus the surprising menstrual changes and feeling constantly cold that researchers flagged for a closer look.

Food Noise Isn’t Hunger

Constant food thoughts aren’t hunger, they’re wanting on loop driven by a gut-to-brainstem-to-reward circuit. I explain how GLP-1 medications turn down that wanting signal, why constant food thoughts fell from 62% to 16% in a 2025 survey, and how to use the quiet as an opening to build habits that hold.
